NZPRS Ltd SIL Service Provider Fees
NZPRS Ltd charge a base fee of $200+GST per
flock or herd. This covers the loading of 'clean' data onto
SIL, and the ordering and forwarding of standard reports via
the Internet. Breeders with more than one flock or herd receive
a discount for the additional flocks/herds.
Additional work (advisory, extra reports, importing
from electronic data capture devices, resolving data issues,
back loading data etc) is charged on a time taken basis, and
any printing for the materials cost. Work customising Studfax
to individual breeder requirements, and Studfax support, is
also charged by the hour. Breeders recording with Studfax
on-farm can make substantial savings with NZPRS Ltd as their
SIL Service Provider.
Breeders using the NZPRS Ltd manual data entry
bureau service are charged separately, again on a time taken
basis, and receive a discount on the base fee. Flock data
is entered by the bureau into Studfax, so breeders who later
buy Studfax to record on-farm get away to a flying start.
SIL Charges
The SIL flock/herd fee is $60+GST per annum.
New sheep ID's are set at 66cents+GST, and deer $2.40+GST,
per head.
NZPRS Ltd is billed by SIL for these charges,
and the fees are on-charged to breeders in the quarter following
the loading of new animal data.
SIL to Studfax
It costs $250-400+GST to have years of SIL recorded
data transferred into Studfax when a SIL recorded breeder
decides to record on-farm with the Studfax program
(check out the benefits listed under the Studfax tab on this website).
